Christian culture today tends to gravitate towards teachings about God’s blessing and to a degree that’s fine- God’s blessing is a very real thing. We have to be careful that we don’t shun the prosperity Gospel so much so that it robs us of the reality that God does bless us.
The problem is we often talk about God’s blessing and how it ties to generosity and that’s a very real Biblical principle – but we often fail to recognize that in order to continue to experience God’s blessing – God’s continued blessing requires faithful stewardship.
